About Dr. Liz

I am fascinated by humans and how they make decisions and over the years, have brought this forward (nationally and internationally) in my presentations, workshops, media appearances, and publications anytime I have the chance. This deep interest in the human experience has led me to research and consult on consumer decision making within a variety of contexts and especially health-related decision making. I have learned through my decade plus of experience in this industry that physicians and other healthcare providers are human beings first — influenced by the same biases, emotions, and pressures as the rest of us. I study how those human factors shape clinical decisions and, ultimately, the patient experience - from first symptoms to better health.
 

I believe the key to better healthcare outcomes lies in understanding both sides of the equation. My expertise blends consumer behavior insights with a deep understanding of healthcare systems, giving me a dual lens on provider decision-making (revealing the clinical, economic, and psychological factors that drive care choices) and patient journey mapping (identifying the key moments, barriers, and opportunities that define the care experience).
 

I partner with healthcare organizations, life sciences and market research firms, and pharmaceutical companies to translate these insights into better patient outcomes, stronger provider engagement, and better healthcare decision making processes. From shaping provider adoption strategies for breakthrough therapies to improving patient adherence through behavior-driven interventions, aligning clinical priorities with human experience is an essential step.
